What is Pasaplatos?
Pasaplatos is a restaurant management system that brings bookings, the floor plan, orders, the kitchen screen and the till together in one place. It works on tablets, phones and computers, and runs either on a computer in your restaurant or in the cloud.
How much does Pasaplatos cost?
Pasaplatos has three plans with public prices, as of October 2026: Floor, €49 a month; Service, €69 a month; and All-in-one, €95 a month. The price is per restaurant, with unlimited users and tablets, excluding VAT. The first 60 days are a free trial, no card needed.
Does Pasaplatos charge per cover or per booking?
No. Pasaplatos is a flat monthly fee per restaurant. It doesn’t charge per booking, per cover or a percentage of sales, so a busier month doesn’t cost more. Text messages and the payment gateway’s fee on card deposits are passed on at cost.
Is there a lock-in contract?
No. Pasaplatos has no lock-in and no cancellation fee, and you cancel from Settings without calling anyone. Before you go you can export all your data in files that open in Excel: guests, bookings, orders, payments, menu and reviews. If you close for holidays, the fee is paused.
When does Verifactu become mandatory for a restaurant?
From 1 January 2027 if the restaurant is a company and from 1 July 2027 if it is a sole trader (Royal Decree-law 15/2025). The regulation requires invoicing software to chain every invoice with a fingerprint, print a QR code and send the records to the Spanish Tax Agency or keep them signed (Royal Decree 1007/2023 and Order HAC/1177/2024). Source: Spanish Tax Agency.
Is Pasaplatos Verifactu compliant?
Not yet: it isn’t active. The Service and All-in-one plans will include it at no extra cost: chained records, a QR code on the receipt and submission to the Spanish Tax Agency. The tax authority doesn’t approve software: the maker signs a statement of compliance. The Floor plan doesn’t issue receipts, so Verifactu doesn’t apply to it.
Can I use Pasaplatos with the POS system I already have?
Yes, with the Floor plan. Pasaplatos then handles bookings, the floor plan, the waiting list and guests without issuing receipts, so it works alongside any POS system. If you later want orders, kitchen and till in the same system, you switch plans without losing any data.
Does Pasaplatos work if the internet goes down?
Yes, if it runs on a computer in your restaurant: the floor, orders, kitchen and till keep working over the restaurant’s wifi even if the internet goes down. The booking page for guests and sending messages need a connection. In the cloud, everything needs the internet.
Can I bring my guests over from TheFork or CoverManager?
Yes. Pasaplatos imports guests from a CSV file, a spreadsheet like the ones TheFork, CoverManager and most booking systems export, and flags duplicates before saving. The menu can also be loaded from a spreadsheet. During the 60-day trial we do it with you.
Is Pasaplatos available in Catalan?
Partly. The public menu, the booking page and the receipts are in Spanish and Catalan, and the booking page is also in English. The staff screens are, for now, only in Spanish; a Catalan version is planned.
